Quick Comics, founded in 2025 by writer and author Jarius Burton, is an independent creative brand and the home of the action-packed samurai fantasy series Joe Black Must Die. Our mission is to craft powerful stories that spotlight the Black community, giving voice to dreamers who strive for something greater. We believe in showing that no goal is impossible and no vision too bold, even in a world where the odds often feel stacked against us. Born and raised in Louisiana, Jarius Burton has always been infatuated with words—whether through music, poetry, or storytelling. Deeply rooted in Black culture, his influences have shaped a vivid and imaginative outlook on writing. As an author and storyteller, Jarius strives to craft narratives that ignite the imagination and resonate with authenticity.
